Vāmadeva’s Rājadharma: Norm-Setting, Counsel, and the Prevention of Rāṣṭra-Vināśa (वामदेव-प्रोक्तं राजधर्मम्)
नैतान्येकेन शक््यानि सातत्येनानुवीक्षितुम् | तेषु सर्व प्रतिष्ठाप्य राजा भुड्धक्ते चिरं महीम्
naitāny ekena śakyāni sātatyenānuvīkṣitum | teṣu sarva-pratiṣṭhāpya rājā buddhaktyā ciraṁ mahīm ||
Vāmadeva dit : «Un seul homme ne peut veiller sans cesse sur toutes ces affaires. Aussi, en établissant des fonctionnaires compétents pour chacune d’elles et en exerçant un jugement sûr, le roi peut gouverner et jouir de la terre longtemps.»
