इयमापत्समुत्पन्ना परचक्रभयं महत् | अपि चान्ताय कल्पन्ते वेणोरिव फलागमा:
iyam āpatsamutpannā paracakrabhayaṁ mahat | api cāntāya kalpante veṇor iva phalāgamāḥ ||
Bhishma dit : «En ce temps de calamité s’est levé un péril grave : la grande peur causée par l’armée ennemie. Pourtant, même de tels événements menaçants peuvent, à la fin, tourner au bien, comme la venue du fruit au bambou qui mène à son terme ultime.»
