आदानादपि भूतानां मधुरामीरयन् गिरम् | सर्वलोकमिमं शक्र सान्त्वेन कुरुते वशे,शक्र! मधुर वचन बोलनेवाला मनुष्य लोगोंकी कोई वस्तु लेकर भी अपनी मधुर वाणीद्वारा इस सम्पूर्ण जगत्को वशमें कर लेता है
ādānād api bhūtānāṁ madhurām īrayan giram | sarvalokam imaṁ śakra sāntvena kurute vaśe ||
Śakra dit : «Même en prenant quelque chose à autrui, celui qui profère des paroles douces peut, par une conciliation bienveillante, soumettre le monde entier à son influence. Telle est la puissance des mots courtois et agréables : ils gagnent les cœurs et obtiennent l’assentiment sans dureté.»
