Chapter 81: Trust, Allies, and the Qualifications of the King’s Artha-Secretary (अर्थसचिव)
सम्मानयेत् पूजयेच्च वाचा नित्यं च कर्मणा । कुर्याच्च प्रियमेतेभ्यो नाप्रियं किज्चिदाचरेत्
sammānayet pūjayec ca vācā nityaṃ ca karmaṇā | kuryāc ca priyam etebhyo nāpriyaṃ kiñcid ācaret |
Bhishma dit : «Un roi doit toujours honorer et vénérer ses propres parents, par des paroles respectueuses comme par des actes constants. Jour après jour, qu’il fasse ce qui leur est agréable, et qu’il ne commette aucun acte qui leur cause du déplaisir.»
