यदीमानि हवींषीह विमथिष्यन्त्यसाधव: । भवता विप्रहीणानि प्राप्तं त्वामेव किल्बिषम्
yadīmāni havīṁṣīha vimathiṣyanty asādhavaḥ | bhavatā viprahīṇāni prāptaṁ tvām eva kilbiṣam ||
Arjuna dit : «Si, après que tu auras abandonné ce rite, des hommes pervers venaient à détruire ces offrandes et ces matériaux sacrificiels amassés, le péché retomberait sur toi seul—car ton renoncement ferait exemple, les autres deviendraient indifférents au devoir sacré, et la continuité même de ce dharma serait tranchée».
