आपद्धर्मे वैश्यवृत्तिः, विक्रय-निषेधाः, तथा ब्रह्म-क्षत्र-सम्बन्धः

इत्येवं सम्प्रवर्तन्ते व्यवहारा: पुरातना: । ऋषीणामितरेषां च साधु चैतदसंशयम्,प्राचीन कालसे ऋषियों तथा अन्य सत्पुरुषोंके सारे व्यवहार ऐसे ही चले आ रहे हैं। यह सब ठीक है, इसमें संशय नहीं है
Transliteration
ity evaṁ sampravartante vyavahārāḥ purātanāḥ | ṛṣīṇām itareṣāṁ ca sādhu caitad asaṁśayam ||
Translation
Bhīṣma dit : «Ainsi, de cette manière même, les usages et les règles de conduite des anciens se sont perpétués — chez les ṛṣi comme chez les autres. Cela est juste, sans aucun doute.»
