राजधर्मः—प्रजापालनं दानयज्ञश्च
Royal Duty—Protection of Subjects, Generosity, and Sacrificial Discipline

यदा कुलीनो धर्मज्ञ: प्राप्तोत्यैश्वर्यमुत्तमम् । योगक्षेमस्तदा राज्ञ: कुशलायैव कल्प्यते,जब धर्मज्ञ एवं कुलीन मुनष्य राजाके यहाँ उत्तम ईश्वरभावको अर्थात् मन्त्री आदिके उच्च अधिकारको पाता है, तभी राजाका योग और क्षेम सिद्ध होता है, जो उसके कुशल- मड़लका साधक है
Translation
Lorsque, auprès du roi, un homme de noble naissance et connaisseur du dharma obtient l’autorité la plus haute —des charges élevées telles que celles de ministre—, alors s’accomplissent pour le souverain le yoga et le kṣema, c’est-à-dire l’acquisition et la sauvegarde du bien-être, au service d’un gouvernement prospère.
