मा स्माधर्मेण लोभेन लिप्सेथास्त्वं धनागमम् | धर्मार्थावध्रुवौ तस्य यो न शास्त्रपरो भवेत्,राजन! तुम लोभवश अधर्ममार्गसे धन पानेकी कभी इच्छा न करना; क्योंकि जो लोग शास्त्रके अनुसार नहीं चलते हैं, उनके धर्म और अर्थ दोनों ही अस्थिर एवं अनिश्चित होते हैं
Translation
«Ô roi, que la cupidité ne te fasse jamais désirer la richesse par la voie de l’adharma ; car pour celui qui ne suit pas le śāstra, dharma et artha sont l’un et l’autre instables et incertains.»
