Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

क्षेत्रस्थेषु च सस्येषु शत्रोरुपजयेन्नरान् । विनाशयेद् वा तत् सर्व बलेनाथ स्वकेन वा
Translation
Bhīṣma dit : «Quant aux récoltes qui se trouvent dans les champs de l’ennemi, qu’on suscite la discorde parmi ses gens afin qu’ils les détruisent; ou bien, par la force de sa propre armée, qu’on anéantisse le tout, pour que l’ennemi manque de vivres.»
