Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: śrutā me kathitāḥ pūrve catvāro mānavāśramāḥ | vyākhyānayitvā vyākhyānam eṣām ācakṣva pṛcchataḥ ||

Translation

Yudhiṣṭhira dit : «J’ai entendu les quatre étapes de la vie (āśrama) pour les hommes que tu as décrites auparavant. À présent, les ayant exposées en détail, explique-m’en le sens—éclaire-les selon mes questions.»
