Rājā–Rāja-Śabda-Prabhavaḥ — The Origin and Rationale of Kingship and Daṇḍanīti
तानुवाच सुरान् सर्वान् स्वयम्भूर्भगवांस्ततः । श्रेयो5हं चिन्तयिष्यामि व्येतु वो भी:सुरर्षभा:,तब भगवान् ब्रह्माने उन सब देवताओंसे कहा--'सुरश्रेष्ठगण! तुम्हारा भय दूर हो जाना चाहिये। मैं तुम्हारे कल्याणका उपाय सोचूँगा'
tān uvāca surān sarvān svayambhūr bhagavāṁs tataḥ | śreyo 'haṁ cintayiṣyāmi vyetu vo bhīḥ surarṣabhāḥ ||
Alors le Bienheureux, le Né-de-Lui-même (Brahmā), s’adressa à tous les dieux : «Ô meilleurs des Sura, que votre crainte se dissipe. Je méditerai sur ce qui est véritablement salutaire et j’établirai le moyen de votre bien.»
