भीमो गाण्डीवधन्वा च यमौ सात्यकिरेव च | ऋषीनभ्यर्चयामासु: करानुद्यम्य दक्षिणान्‌

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | bhīmo gāṇḍīvadhanvā ca yamau sātyakir eva ca | ṛṣīn abhyarcayāmāsuḥ karān udyamya dakṣiṇān |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : Bhīma, Arjuna maniant la Gāṇḍīva, les jumeaux (Nakula et Sahadeva) et Sātyaki se levèrent tous et honorèrent les sages. En levant la main droite avec révérence, ils exprimèrent un assentiment respectueux et une humble soumission devant les voyants—un geste éthique qui confirme le dharma par la déférence envers l’autorité spirituelle après le tumulte de la guerre.
