Departure to Behold Bhīṣma
श्रीकृष्णकी आज्ञा पाकर सात्यकि तुरंत वहाँसे चल दिये और राजा युधिष्ठिरके पास जाकर बोले--
śrīkṛṣṇasya ājñāṃ prāpya sātyakiḥ tūrṇaṃ tataḥ sthānāt calitaḥ; sa rājānaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram upagamya uvāca—
Vaiśampāyana dit : Ayant reçu l’ordre de Śrī Kṛṣṇa, Sātyaki quitta aussitôt ce lieu. Il se rendit auprès du roi Yudhiṣṭhira et parla—soulignant l’urgence du devoir et l’obéissance au juste conseil après la guerre.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights promptness in carrying out a legitimate command and the ethical value of disciplined action—especially when guided by wise counsel—so that responsibility is fulfilled without delay.
After receiving Kṛṣṇa’s instruction, Sātyaki immediately leaves and approaches King Yudhiṣṭhira to deliver a message or report, indicating an urgent development within the Shānti Parva’s post-war setting.
