Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons
इमं च राजशार्दूल भूतग्रामं चतुर्विधम् । चक्षुर्दिव्यं समाश्रित्य द्रक्ष्यय्यमितविक्रम
imaṃ ca rājaśārdūla bhūtagrāmaṃ caturvidham | cakṣurdivyaṃ samāśritya drakṣyasy amitavikrama ||
Vāyu dit : «Ô tigre parmi les rois, t’appuyant sur la vision divine, tu verras toute cette multitude d’êtres selon sa quadruple classification. Ô toi dont la vaillance est sans mesure, tu pourras voir les créatures nées de la sueur, de l’œuf, du germe et du sein maternel.»
