इस विश्वकी रचना करनेवाले परमेश्वर! आपको प्रणाम है। विश्वके आत्मा और विश्वकी उत्पत्तिके स्थानभूत जगदीश्वर! आपको नमस्कार है। आप पाँचों भूतोंसे परे हैं और सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंके मोक्षस्वरूप ब्रह्म हैं ।।
namaḥ te triṣu lokeṣu namaḥ te paratastriṣu | namaḥ te dikṣu sarvāsu tvaṁ hi sarvamayo nidhiḥ ||
Hommage au Seigneur suprême, créateur de cet univers. Hommage au Maître du monde, âme du cosmos et source de sa naissance. Tu es au-delà des cinq éléments, et tu es le Brahman, la délivrance même de tous les êtres. Hommage à toi qui pénètres les trois mondes ; hommage à toi qui les transcendes ; hommage à toi présent en toutes directions, car tu es le trésor inépuisable où tout est contenu.
