योगेश्वरं पद्मनाभं विष्णुं जिष्णुं जगत्पतिम् । कृताञ्जलिपुटो भूत्वा वाग्विदां प्रवर: प्रभु:
yogeśvaraṁ padmanābhaṁ viṣṇuṁ jiṣṇuṁ jagatpatim | kṛtāñjalipuṭo bhūtvā vāgvidāṁ pravaraḥ prabhuḥ ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : Alors le seigneur illustre—le premier parmi les sages de la parole—se tint debout, les paumes jointes en révérence, et s’adressa au Suprême : le Maître du Yoga, Padmanābha, Viṣṇu, l’Invincible Victorieux, le Souverain de l’univers.
