मौने ज्ञानफलावाप्तिदनिन च यशो महत्‌ | वाम्मित्वं सत्यवाक्येन परत्र च महीयते

Transliteration

maune jñānaphalāvāptir dānaṁ ca yaśo mahat | vākmitvaṁ satyavākyena paratra ca mahīyate ||

Translation

Par le silence, on obtient le fruit de la vraie connaissance ; par le don, on acquiert une grande renommée. En disant la vérité, on devient éloquent, et dans l’au-delà aussi l’on est honoré et élevé.
