गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:

Transliteration

gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dit : « Sur la grève sablonneuse de la rivière Gomatī est assis un brahmane aux vœux fermes et à la discipline austère. Récitant le savoir védique, il demeure là, avide de te voir. »
