7 अं ड-ऑ का एकोनषष्टर्याधेकत्रिशततमो< ध्याय: नागराजका घर लौटना

Bhīṣma uvāca: atha kāle bahuvidhe pūrṇe prāpto bhujaṅgamaḥ | dattābhyanujñaḥ svaṁ veśma kṛtakarmā vivasvatā ||

Bhīṣma dit : Lorsqu’un long temps, riche de maints événements, se fut écoulé et que la tâche du roi des serpents fut accomplie, lui—ayant reçu la permission de Vivasvat (le Soleil)—retourna dans sa demeure. Le récit présente ce retour non comme un simple déplacement, mais comme la clôture éthique d’un devoir entrepris sous une autorité légitime.
