अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः

Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic

भूतभव्यभविष्याणां छिन्नसर्वार्थसंशय: । ये हृतिक्रान्तका: पूर्व सहस्रयुगपर्यया:

bhūtabhavyabhaviṣyāṇāṁ chinnasarvārthasaṁśayaḥ | ye hṛtikrāntakāḥ pūrva sahasrayugaparyayāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana dit : « Ton doute au sujet de toutes choses — passé, présent et avenir — sera entièrement tranché. Les anciennes révolutions du temps, s’étendant sur des milliers de yuga et déjà écoulées, tu pourras les contempler par mon ordre ; et, pourvu de la puissance de l’ascèse, tu percevras aussi de nombreux cycles de création qui ne sont pas encore advenus. »
