व्यासश्वाकथयत्‌ प्रीत्या धर्मपुत्राय धीमते । स एवायं मया तुभ्यमाख्यात: प्रसृतो गुरो:

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Vyāsaś ca kathayat prītyā Dharmaputrāya dhīmate | sa evāyaṃ mayā tubhyam ākhyātaḥ prasṛto guroḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : Avec une bienveillante affection, Vyāsa exposa cet enseignement du dharma au sage fils de Dharma, Yudhiṣṭhira. Ce même dharma—sorti de la bouche même du guru—je l’ai maintenant rapporté ici pour toi.
