Āścarya-kathana: Brāhmaṇa–Nāga Dialogue on Sūrya (Vivasvat) and the ‘Second Sun’ Phenomenon
पश्यत्येनं जायमान ब्रह्मा लोकपितामह:
paśyaty enaṃ jāyamānaṃ brahmā lokapitāmahaḥ
Vaiśampāyana dit : Brahmā, l’aïeul et le géniteur des mondes, le voit au moment même où il naît — signe que l’événement est observé et consacré par la plus haute autorité cosmique.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores that significant births or manifestations are not merely private events but occur within a moral-cosmic framework: the creator himself is portrayed as witnessing them, implying legitimacy, purpose, and alignment with dharma.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that at the moment of this figure’s birth, Brahmā—the world-progenitor—looks on, elevating the scene and signaling that the birth has broader cosmic significance.
