नारायणपरं सत्यमृतं नारायणात्मकम्‌ । नारायणपरो धर्म: पुनरावृत्तिदुर्लभ:

Transliteration

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: nārāyaṇaparaṃ satyam ṛtaṃ nārāyaṇātmakam | nārāyaṇaparo dharmaḥ punarāvṛttidurlabhaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : La Vérité trouve son plus haut fondement en Nārāyaṇa ; l’ordre cosmique (ṛta) est de la nature même de Nārāyaṇa. Même le dharma du renoncement, qui rend difficile le retour à la renaissance, a Nārāyaṇa pour terme suprême.
