अहल्याधर्षणनिमित्तं हि गौतमाद्धरिश्मश्रुतामिन्द्र: प्राप्त: कौशिकनिमित्तं चेन्द्रो मुष्कवियोगं मेषवृषणत्वं चावाप
Translation
Pour avoir outragé Ahalyā, Indra, sous l’effet de la malédiction de Gautama, dut porter barbe et moustache vertes (hari-śmaśru). Et sous la malédiction de Viśvāmitra, Indra perdit ses testicules, auxquels on substitua ceux d’un bélier.
