Atithi’s Direction to the Nāga-sage Padma at Naimiṣa (अतिथ्युपदेशः—नैमिषे पद्मनागोपाख्यानप्रस्तावः)
अपि चात्र सनत्कुमारगीता: श्लोका भवन्ति-- ब्रह्मा विश्व सृजत् पूर्व सर्वादिर्निरिवस्कृतम् । ब्रह्मघोषैर्दिवं गच्छन्त्यमरा ब्रह्मययोनय:
api cātra sanatkumāragītāḥ ślokā bhavanti— brahmā viśvaṃ sṛjat pūrvaṃ sarvādir nirivaskṛtam | brahmaghoṣair divaṃ gacchanty amarā brahmayayonayaḥ ||
Arjuna dit : «De plus, à ce sujet, il existe des vers tirés du “Chant de Sanatkumāra”. Au commencement, Brahmā — source première de tout — créa l’univers sans tache. Et les dieux immortels, dont l’origine même est en Brahman, atteignent le ciel par le son védique sacré — le chant brahmique — des brahmanes.»
अजुन उवाच
