Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)
The verse emphasizes faithful transmission of dharmic instruction: Bhīṣma presents his discourse as a complete account rooted in Nārada’s prior teaching, underscoring the authority and continuity of ethical knowledge through a recognized tradition.
Bhīṣma concludes or rounds off a section of instruction by telling his listener that he has now fully related what Nārada had said, marking a transition point in the ongoing Shānti Parva dialogue.
