धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)
सर्वे ते परमात्मानं पूजयन्ते समन््ततः । भरतनन्दन! पिताजीके मुखसे इस प्रसंगको सुनकर मैंने अब तुमसे इसका वर्णन किया है। देवताओं
sarve te paramātmānaṃ pūjayante samantataḥ | bharatanandana! pitājīke mukhase asya prasaṅgasya śrutvā mayā idānīṃ tubhyaṃ tasya varṇanaṃ kṛtam | devatāḥ munayaḥ athavā ye janāḥ api idaṃ purātana-jñānaṃ śrutavantaḥ te sarve sarvataḥ paramātmanaḥ pūjanaṃ kurvanti |
Bhīṣma dit : «Tous, de toutes parts, rendent un culte au Soi suprême (Paramātman). Ô joie des Bharata, ayant entendu cet épisode de la bouche même de mon père, je te l’ai maintenant rapporté. Les dieux, les sages, et quiconque a entendu cette antique sagesse : tous, en toute direction de l’existence, se tournent vers l’adoration du Suprême.»
