कालनिर्देशः शोकनिवारणं च
Instruction on Kāla and the Removal of Grief
इति चाप्यत्र कौन्तेय मन्त्रो वेदेषु पठ्यते । वेदप्रमाणविद्ितं धर्म च प्रत्रवीमि ते,कुन्तीनन्दन! इस विषयमें वेदका एक मन्त्र भी पढ़ा जाता है। मैं तुमसे उसी धर्मकी बात कहता हूँ, जो वैदिक प्रमाणसे विहित है
iti cāpy atra kaunteya mantro vedeṣu paṭhyate | vedapramāṇaviditaṁ dharmaṁ ca pravakṣyāmi te, kuntīnandana |
Vyāsa dit : «Ô fils de Kuntī, à ce sujet même, un mantra est aussi récité dans les Veda. Je vais te déclarer ce dharma, connu et établi par l’autorité védique.»
