Puruṣaikatva-vyākhyāna: The One Virāṭ Puruṣa and the Many ‘Puruṣas’

भीष्म उवाच देवानां तु मतं ज्ञात्वा वसुना पक्षसंश्रयात्
bhīṣma uvāca devānāṁ tu mataṁ jñātvā vasunā pakṣasaṁśrayāt
Bhīṣma dit : Ayant discerné l’intention des dieux, et s’étant placé sous l’aile du parti de Vasu (s’alignant sur les siens), il agit selon cette résolution divine—montrant que le choix d’allégeance, lorsqu’il est guidé par un conseil plus haut, façonne la voie du devoir et du dharma.
