एतन्न: संशयं छिन्धि प्रमाणं नो भवान् मतः । “राजन! किसके द्वारा यज्ञ करना चाहिये? बकरेके द्वारा अथवा अन्नद्वारा? हमारे इस संदेहका आप निवारण करें। हमलोगोंकी रायमें आप ही प्रामाणिक व्यक्ति हैं'
etannaḥ saṁśayaṁ chindhi pramāṇaṁ no bhavān mataḥ |
Bhishma dit : «Tranche ce doute qui nous tourmente. À nos yeux, tu es le guide faisant autorité. Ô roi, avec quoi doit-on accomplir le sacrifice : avec un bouc, ou avec du grain ? Daigne lever notre incertitude.»
