यूयं जिज्ञासवो भक्ता: कथं द्रक्ष्यथ तं॑ विभुम् “ब्राह्मणो! तुमने प्रसन्न हृदयसे भलीभाँति तप किया है। तुम भगवानके भक्त हो और यह जानना चाहते हो कि उन सर्वव्यापी परमात्माका दर्शन कैसे हो? ।।
bhīṣma uvāca |
yūyaṃ jijñāsavo bhaktāḥ kathaṃ drakṣyatha taṃ vibhum |
kṣīrodadher uttarataḥ śvetadvīpo mahāprabhaḥ |
Bhīṣma dit : «Vous êtes des chercheurs dévots, avides de savoir : comment contemplerez-vous ce Seigneur qui pénètre tout ? Au nord de l’Océan de Lait se trouve l’éclatante Île Blanche (Śvetadvīpa), ô puissant.»
