पितृयज्ञे नारायणतत्त्वम् — The Nārāyaṇa Grounding of Ancestral Offerings
ततो द्वैपायनसुतं बहुमानात् समन्ततः । कृताञ्जलिपुटा: सर्वा निरी क्षन्ते सम देवता:
tato dvaipāyanasutaṃ bahumānāt samantataḥ | kṛtāñjalipuṭāḥ sarvā nirīkṣante sma devatāḥ ||
Alors, de toutes parts et avec une profonde révérence, toutes les déesses tutélaires contemplèrent Śuka, fils de Dvaipāyana. Debout, les mains jointes en añjali, elles le fixaient avec une attention respectueuse—signe que l’autorité morale du renoncement et de l’accomplissement spirituel est honorée même par les puissances divines.
