ततो निबद्धः स्वां योनिं कर्मणामुदयादिह
tato nibaddhaḥ svāṃ yoniṃ karmaṇām udayād iha
Alors, lié à sa propre yoni —son mode de naissance et sa condition d’existence— en ce monde, l’être s’élève et se manifeste selon l’émergence de ses actes passés. Cette parole souligne la causalité éthique du karma : les circonstances sont façonnées par les deeds, et la vie incarnée se déploie sous cet élan qui enchaîne.
नारद उवाच
That embodied existence is ethically conditioned: the ‘arising’ of past actions (karma) binds a being to a particular yoni (mode of birth and life-situation). This frames moral responsibility across time—choices generate consequences that shape future experience.
Nārada is explaining a principle of karmic determination: as karmic results come into effect, a being becomes constrained within its own destined embodiment and life-condition, and thus experiences worldly rise and manifestation accordingly.
