Nārāyaṇasya Guhya-nāmāni Niruktāni (Etymologies of Nārāyaṇa’s Secret Epithets) / नारायणस्य गुह्यनामानि निरुक्तानि
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत गोक्षधर्मपर्वमें अनध्यायके कारणका कथन नामक तीन सौ जअद्ठाईसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvake antargata-gokṣadharmaparvaṇi anadhyāyakāraṇakathana-nāma trīśata-aṣṭāviṃśat-tamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
Ainsi s’achève le trois-cent-vingt-huitième chapitre du Mahābhārata, dans le Śānti Parva, au sein de la section Gokṣa-dharma, intitulé « Exposé de la cause de l’Anadhyāya (suspension de l’étude védique) ». Ce colophon marque l’achèvement de l’enseignement de Bhīṣma sur le moment et les raisons, selon le dharma, où l’étude sacrée doit être interrompue.
