Agni–Soma Origin and the Brahmāgnīṣomīya Doctrine
अनपत्यो5भवत् प्राणो दुर्धर्ष: शत्रुतापन: । पृथक् कर्माणि तेषां ते प्रवक्ष्यामि यथातथम्
anapatyo 'bhavat prāṇo durdharṣaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | pṛthak karmāṇi teṣāṃ te pravakṣyāmi yathātatham ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Prāṇa n’eut point de descendance ; il était imprenable et tourmenteur des ennemis. Leurs œuvres diffèrent les unes des autres — je te les exposerai telles qu’elles furent, sans altération.»
