अध्याय ३२३ — श्वेतद्वीपगमनम्, यज्ञभाग-विवादः, एकान्तिभक्त्या नारायणदर्शन-नियमः (Śvetadvīpa Journey; Dispute over Sacrificial Share; Rule of Nārāyaṇa-vision through Single-minded Devotion)
संकल्पेनाथ योगेन दुष्प्रापमकृतात्मभि: । वरयामास देवेशमास्थितस्तप उत्तमम्
saṅkalpenātha yogena duṣprāpam akṛtātmabhiḥ | varayāmāsa deveśam āsthitas tapa uttamam ||
Bhīṣma dit : Ayant formé une résolution ferme et recourant à la discipline du yoga, Vyāsa—établi dans l’austérité la plus haute—sollicita une grâce de Mahādeva, Seigneur des dieux, difficile à atteindre pour ceux qui ne se sont pas maîtrisés.
