देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship
पुराउभिवाति मारुतो यमस्य यः पुर:सर: । पुरैक एव नीयसे कुरुष्व साम्परायिकम्,जिस समय यमराजके आगे-आगे चलनेवाला प्रचण्ड कालरूपी पवन चल पड़ेगा, उस समय वह अकेले तुम्हींको वहाँ ले जायगा; अतः तुम पहलेसे ही परलोकमें सुख देनेवाले धर्मका आचरण करो
purābhivāti māruto yamasya yaḥ puraḥsaraḥ | purāka eva nīyase kuruṣva sāmparāyikam ||
Vyāsa dit : «Quand se mettra à souffler le vent farouche du Temps — l’avant-coureur de Yama — tu seras emporté seul. Aussi, dès maintenant, pratique ce dharma qui apporte le bien-être dans l’au-delà.»
