साहं मानप्रदानेन वागातिथ्येन चार्चिता । सुप्ता सुशरणं प्रीता श्वो गमिष्यामि मैथिल

Transliteration

sāhaṃ mānapradānena vāgātithyena cārcitā | suptā suśaraṇaṃ prītā śvo gamiṣyāmi maithila ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dit : «Honorée par ton don de respect et accueillie par l’hospitalité de tes paroles bienveillantes, je suis comblée. Après avoir reposé en sûreté sous ton noble abri, ô roi de Mithilā, je quitterai ces lieux demain.»
