The Account of Suvarṇaṣṭhīvin
व्यतिक्रान्तासु वर्षासु समये गमनस्य च । पर्वतो मामुवाचेदं काले वचनमर्थवत्,जब वर्षाके चार महीने बीत गये और हमलोगोंके वहाँसे चलनेका समय आया, तब पर्वतने मुझसे समयोचित एवं सार्थक वचन कहा--
vyatikrāntāsu varṣāsu samaye gamanasya ca | parvato mām uvācedaṃ kāle vacanam arthavat ||
Lorsque la saison des pluies fut passée et que vint l’heure de notre départ, Parvata m’adressa des paroles opportunes et pleines de sens — prélude à un conseil façonné par la bienséance et le discernement.
