Adhyātma–Adhibhūta–Adhidaivata Correspondences and the Triguṇa Lakṣaṇas (Śānti-parva 301)

देवर्षिविषयान्‌ ज्ञात्वा योगानामपि चेश्वरान्‌ | प्रजापतीनां विषयान्‌ ब्रह्मणो विषयांस्तथा

bhīṣma uvāca | devarṣi-viṣayān jñātvā yogānām api ceśvarān | prajāpātīnām viṣayān brahmaṇo viṣayāṁs tathā ||

Bhīṣma dit : «Ô roi parmi les hommes, ayant compris les sphères et les objets des voyants divins, ainsi que les puissances souveraines des yogas, et de même les domaines des Prajāpatis et de Brahmā, on acquiert un discernement clair de la portée et des limites de tous ces états sublimes. Par cette connaissance discriminante, le chercheur devient apte à la voie supérieure qui mène au-delà de l’attachement aux objets des sens, vers la délivrance.»
