तेन ज्ञानेन विज्ञाय गतिं चाशुभकर्मणाम् | तिर्यग्योनिगतानां च विज्ञाय गतय: पृथक्
bhīṣma uvāca | tena jñānena vijñāya gatiṃ cāśubhakarmaṇām | tiryagyonigatānāṃ ca vijñāya gatayaḥ pṛthak, yudhiṣṭhira |
Bhishma dit : «Par cette même connaissance, comprends les destinées qui suivent les actes inauspicieux. Et, ô Yudhishthira, discerne aussi les voies distinctes des êtres nés de matrices animales—comment leurs chemins diffèrent—afin que les effets déclinants de la conduite pécheresse apparaissent clairement.»
