Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse
कथा च येयं नृपते प्रसक्ता देवे महावीर्यमतौ शुभेयम् । योगी स सर्वानिभिभूय मर्त्यान् नारायणात्मा कुरुते महात्मा
kathā ca yeyam nṛpate prasaktā deve mahāvīryamatau śubheyam | yogī sa sarvān abhibhūya martyān nārāyaṇātmā kurute mahātmā ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ô roi, au fil de notre entretien, je t’ai rapporté ce récit de bon augure concernant le Divin, d’une grande vaillance et d’une grande sagesse. Ce yogin à la grande âme, s’étant élevé au-dessus de tous les mortels, devient un en essence avec Nārāyaṇa ; et, par la seule force de sa résolution, il en vient à exercer un pouvoir créateur sur le monde.»
