अव्यक्तकालमान-निर्णयः

Measures of Time from the Unmanifest; Creation, Elements, and the Primacy of Mind

सदा देवा: साधुभि: संवदन्ते न मानुषं विषयं यान्ति द्रष्टम्‌ नेन्दु: सम: स्थादसमो हि वायु- रुच्चावचं विषयं यः स वेद,देवतालोग सदा सत्पुरुषोंका संग--उन्हींके साथ वार्तालाप करते हैं; इसीलिये वे मनुष्योंके क्षणभंगुर भोगोंकी ओर देखने भी नहीं जाते। जो विभिन्न विषयोंके नश्वर स्वभावको ठीक-ठीक जानता है, उसकी समानता न चन्द्रमा कर सकते हैं न वायु

sadā devāḥ sādhubhiḥ saṃvadante na mānuṣaṃ viṣayaṃ yānti draṣṭum | nenduḥ samaḥ sthād asamo hi vāyur uccāvacaṃ viṣayaṃ yaḥ sa veda ||

Le Cygne dit : «Les dieux tiennent toujours compagnie aux hommes de bien et s’entretiennent avec eux ; c’est pourquoi ils ne daignent même pas tourner les yeux vers les jouissances fugitives qui captivent les humains. Celui qui comprend vraiment la nature périssable et changeante des objets des sens est sans égal : ni la lune ni le vent ne peuvent l’égaler.»
