The verse highlights dharmic generosity: in a properly conducted sacrifice, the giver should offer dakṣiṇā abundantly and respectfully, showing that wealth gains ethical value when used for righteous giving and support of sacred duties.
Vāyu describes an exemplary sacrificial occasion where the sacrificer, during an elaborate yajña, distributes immense gifts—specifically vast numbers of bulls adorned with gold garlands—as dakṣiṇā, illustrating extraordinary largesse.
