Educational Q&A

The verse enumerates hallmark attainments associated with perfected yogic and divine empowerment—spiritual greatness, mastery of māyā (creative/illusory power), extraordinary strength, and supreme radiance—implying that inner discipline and divine favor culminate in both ethical-spiritual eminence and potent capability.

Maheśvara addresses Indra (sureśvara/surendra), listing the distinguished powers or qualities that are said to be granted or recognized—framing yogins’ stature and divine capacities in a discourse on higher attainments within Śānti Parva’s reflective teachings.
