Śreyas-nirdeśa (Discerning the Superior Good): Nārada–Gālava Saṃvāda
एवमीहासमायुक्तं मृत्युरादाय गच्छति । मनुष्य सोचता है कि यह काम तो मैंने कर लिया
evam īhā-samāyuktaṃ mṛtyur ādāya gacchati |
Bhishma dit : «L’homme se dit : “Cette tâche, je l’ai accomplie ; celle-là, je dois encore la faire ; cet autre ouvrage est à moitié achevé, et le reste demeure en suspens.” Ainsi, tandis qu’il s’absorbe à nouer projets et poursuites, la Mort vient et l’emporte.»
