मोक्षोपाय-निर्णयः

Determination of the Means to Liberation

तत्त्वाभेदेन यच्छास्त्रं तत्‌ कार्य नान्यथाविधम्‌ | असमीक्ष्यैव कर्माणि नीतिशास्त्रं यथाविधि

tattvābhedena yacchāstraṃ tat kāryaṃ nānyathāvidham | asamīkṣyaiva karmāṇi nītiśāstraṃ yathāvidhi ||

Dyumatsena dit : «Le traité qui fixe la politique et le châtiment conformément aux vrais principes (de la réalité et de la juste conduite) doit être appliqué exactement comme il le prescrit, et non autrement. Sans examiner correctement les actes (du fautif) et sans réflexion due sur la science du gouvernement telle qu’elle est enseignée, on ne doit pas infliger une peine contraire à la règle.»
