Bhūta-guṇa-saṃkhyāna
Enumeration of the Properties of the Elements and Cognitive Faculties
एवमेव कृतप्रज्ञो न दोषैरविंषयां श्वरन् । असज्जमान: सर्वेषु कथंचन न लिप्यते
evam eva kṛtaprajño na doṣair aviṣayāṁś caran | asajjamānaḥ sarveṣu kathaṁcana na lipyate ||
Ainsi, celui dont l’intelligence est accomplie et purifiée—qui se meut parmi les objets des sens sans en être poussé—n’est pas souillé par leurs défauts. Parce qu’il demeure sans attachement à toute relation et possession (épouse, fils et autres), même en s’occupant des affaires du monde, il n’est en aucune manière entaché des vices qui s’attachent d’ordinaire à de tels plaisirs.
