Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
मन: सृष्टिं विकुरुते चोद्यमानं सिसृक्षया । आकाशं जायते तस्मात् तस्य शब्दं गुणं विदु:,फिर सृष्टिकी इच्छासे प्रेरित होनेपर मन नाना प्रकारकी सृष्टि करता है। उससे आकाशकी उत्पत्ति होती है। आकाशका गुण “शब्द” माना गया है
manaḥ sṛṣṭiṁ vikurute codyamānaṁ sisṛkṣayā | ākāśaṁ jāyate tasmāt tasya śabdaṁ guṇaṁ viduḥ ||
Vyāsa dit : Lorsque l’esprit est poussé par le désir de créer, il façonne le processus multiple de la création. De là naît ākāśa (l’espace/l’éther), et les sages savent que sa qualité distinctive est le son.
