योग–सांख्यसमन्वयः, रथोपमा, व्यक्त–अव्यक्तविवेकः

तथा धर्मादपेतेन कर्मणा गह्ितेन ये । महतः प्राप्तुवन्त्यर्थास्तिषां तत्राभवत्‌ स्पृहा

tathā dharmādapetena karmaṇā garhitena ye | mahataḥ prāptuvanty arthās tiṣāṃ tatrābhavat spṛhā ||

Ceux qui obtiennent de grandes richesses par des actes déchus du dharma—des œuvres blâmées—voient naître, dans cette même manière d’acquérir, une convoitise accrue. Ayant beaucoup gagné par des moyens iniques, leur désir d’en gagner davantage par la voie condamnée ne fait que grandir.
